Billy, mid-snack
11" × 14"A tabby caught mid-lick on a warm gold background. The photo was ridiculous and I wanted to keep it that way.
Milo, all grin
11" × 14"A black lab mix looking straight up with his mouth open. He's gone grey around the muzzle, and I painted that in rather than leaving it out.
Blackberry
10" × 8"Black cats are the hardest ones to paint, because all the detail is in the highlights. I put a soft lilac behind her so she doesn't disappear into the background.

10" × 8"A cream British Shorthair with pale green eyes. He's painted in thin layers, so you can still see the canvas through his fur.
Taeyoung, looking up
10" × 8"Ginger and white, chin up, looking pleased with himself. I went with a blue background so his cream fur would stand out against it.
