Medford, Oregon · Acrylic on canvas

A portrait of your pet, painted the way you see them.

Patt paints original acrylic portraits from your photos in her Medford, Oregon studio — one canvas at a time, no prints, no filters. The goofy tilt of the head, the one crooked whisker, the look they give you at dinner time.

Acrylic portrait of Billy by Patt

Billy, mid-snack

11" × 14"

A tabby caught mid-lick against a warm ochre ground. Painted to keep the ridiculous joy of the reference photo instead of smoothing it away.

Acrylic portrait of Milo by Patt

Milo, all grin

11" × 14"

A black lab mix caught mid-smile, looking straight up at you. The grey coming in around his muzzle is the whole point — Patt painted the years in rather than smoothing them out.

Acrylic portrait of Blackberry by Patt

Blackberry

10" × 8"

Black cats are the hardest thing to paint — all the detail lives in the highlights. Soft lilac behind her so the shape reads without flattening.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send your photos

Three or four bright, close-up shots at your pet's eye level. Patt will help you pick the one that will paint well.

  2. 2

    Approve the plan

You'll agree on size, background colour, and the reference photo. A 50% deposit reserves your spot in the queue.

  3. 3

    Patt paints

Acrylic on stretched canvas, built up in thin layers. You'll get progress photos along the way.

  4. 4

    Approve and ship

See the finished piece before it leaves the studio. Once the balance is paid it's varnished, wrapped, and shipped.
